Hurts for secondary scoring and/or trade bait at the deadline. Dual hurt, unfortunately.

I would argue that it may help the secondary scoring part.... But there goes my idea to the Hawks from yesterday for Stalberg. Maybe we could put Big Dog in his place instead??

John you shouldn't have posted the answers right under. I was doing pretty well. Not really liking O'reilly's compete and physicality level. Dominic Moore please. I think Crosby is out another couple weeks at least we could use a center good in the dots and gets under opposing players skin. I like the 24-11-9 line should be a descent line. They will out work anyone they are out there against. John what's the asking price on Moore? Ha Ha ask Ek

I think Gunner thinks he is a bit of a puck hog.

Gunner you will appreciate this. I am at my daughters open house. We are in the gym and it appears all the parents just dropped their kids off here for him to watch.

It will because there arent better options. Tangradi? Williams? McDonald? Jeffrey? MacIntyre? O'Reilly?

It also hampers Shero's ability to make moves, at least to some extent.

Mario Lemieux Congrats to Scott Gomez. I too once went a long time in between scoring. Of course, I was retired though.

That is pretty funny, that and the Islanders were the team he scored against.

I will grant you that. But his underwhelming production over the course of the entire season will make his absence less problematic. The others you mentioned aren't going to light world on fire, but then again, neither is TK given his minutes and roll on the team.

I will come to be known as the Nostradamus of the Pens hockeybuzz thread when sid is in the line up shortly before the trade deadline.
